BJ4 is one of James' early efforts, and noticeably different from the albums beginning with Touchdown. It's certainly more "70s", what with it's funk and disco influence and a big orchestra back-drop that can at times sound like the soundtrack to a Quinn-Martin cop show. That said, BJ4 is also a bit of an intermediate album, too/5(6).
