Higher up, the red tails drift on the winds, magpies, redwings, swallows, blue jays, and crows gather nosily in the trees. I love all of it. But this year I become enamored of the random cairns that appear in the fields and mountains -- some the product of nature, stones tumbled together from rain and erosion.

Crows Labyrinth is an ambient solo bass project, conceived by Theo Tol from the Netherlands. What started as an experiment in December turned out to become a real project, resulting in his first full album, titled “Travels”, released in January Theo’s approach to making music is si.

about Six years after his debut, "Travels", and three years after the Consolation EP, Crows Labyrinth finally releases his long-awaited second full-length album. The tradition of recording the music exclusively with bass guitars and effect processing is maintained on this album.

I thought one night I'd go make a few new lists ranking albums by lesser-known but still awesome bands. Here's the first, Italian prog power metal masters [Artist]. It also includes the album they released only in Japan under the name [Artist]. I might include their various EPs and demos at some point, but I don't know those as well as I do their regular discography.
